New Jersey based mixed media artist Kristin Snopek-O'Brien
Kris has been creating multiple forms of art & other creations since 1998. Originally specializing in costuming & handcrafted spiritual supplies, Kristin has expanded her talents into becoming a multifaceted artisan in Painting of abstract & mixed media art, sculpting, woodworking, jewelry, costuming, embroidery and more. As a child growing up on a small farm her connection to the earth has always been a source of inspiration. From a young age there was always a drive to express creativity, and she has always gone by the belief that “You never stop learning, so, constantly challenge yourself”
Kristin is driven to create by a passion for color, beauty and expression in almost any form. She is never afraid to try new things or work outside the box and there is always an interesting new project around the corner.
Kristin’s evolution as an artist has allowed her to combine several of her artistic talents to create a wide variety of amazing & unique artistic items. As an “Artisan with an invisible illness”, Painting & creating is a major form of personal therapy & an extremely important key in remaining positive, active & productive.
